Process for PCD

Hypertext development in the context of a process model

1.  List the tasks (from the process model)

2.  Gather all reference materials (or some form of an inventory), including books, files, sticky notes, info items found around the work place, …)

3.  Decompose content according to what is used for which tasks

4.  Create task-specific information maps / content hierarchies

5.  Create node diagram and populate nodes

6.  Determine entry points

7.  Normalize information (i.e., remove unnecessary redundancies)

7.  Establish links and link anchors

8.  Iteratively test reachability and usability
