Educate yourself
Attend key conferences Familiarize yourself with the specialized disciplines: Sell the concepts to management Hold internal awareness building sessions Evaluate potential projects Use a screening job aid Build proof of concept
Build a representation of your vision using presentation software tools or visual prototyping tools. Focus on identifying which key business problems you are going to solve and give management an idea of how you are going to solve them. The purpose is to sell the idea of investing in a limited prototype - the next phase.
