Family Tree Maker helps you to record and compile your genealogy. The following screen shot illustrates how this program uses bubble help to provide information and instructions for completing each field. Unfortunately the bubble help is only activated when you hover the mouse pointer over a field for about a second and a half. If you tab between the fields, as I did when I first tested this program, the bubble help does not appear. I only discovered it by accident.

As you complete the form in the following diagram, Family Tree Maker will add a tab (on the right hand side of the screen) for each member of the immediate family. Automatically performing actions for a user can sometimes be more of a hindrance than a help, but in this instance it seems to work quite well and does not hinder the process of recording information about a family member.
