What is EPSS Designer
EPSS Designer is a Lotus Notes application that can be used to record and collect the information required to design and develop an electronic performance support system. EPSS Designer provides a methodology for collecting, categorizing and organizing information about tasks and business processes. Once you have collected this task information, you can use EPSS Designer to record design decisions such as the form of performance support (Intrinsic, Extrinsic or External) for a particular task or decision.
With EPSS Designer, you can easily record, organize and update
- the performance objective for your EPSS project;
- detailed information about each task and the individual procedures and sub-procedures that must be completed to perform the task;
- a dictionary of all business related terms,
- information about the decisions an employee must make to perform their job;
- a list of all the reference information and documents that an employee may use in the course of performing his/her job; and
- if your EPSS will include an integrated database system, information about the fields, tables and data forms.
