The next two screen shoots show how you can create a help tab in a dialog. You can view the help topic by clicking the help tab. The contents of help tab is shown in the second screen shot. If you need to read the help topic and view the dialog at the same time, you can click the tear off icon in the upper right corner of help tab. This open the help topic in a separate window that can be positioned beside the dialog window.
The following screen shot shows a help window fly out. The help topic window opens when a user clicks the help button.
The following window shows a help topic that responds to the user interactions with the fields in the dialog. This feature allows you to highlight the next step in the process of completing the dialog and dim the instructions that are not relevant to the process and the currently selected field. In this illustration the help topic is designed to guide a user through the process of building a Vanilla Sundae.
The following screen shot shows the sample application with an embedded help topic window and embedded content/index window. You can hide and show these by clicking the buttons in the lower right corner of the application window. The screen shot also shows the use of Wextech's AnswerWorks natural language search feature.
